ARE YOU INTERESTED IN APPLYING TO PMI IMPACT? FOLLOW THE EXPLORATORY STAGE FIRST

 

EXPLORATORY STAGE

Following PMI calls for Applications any public, private, or non-profit organizations, including non-governmental organizations, international organizations, associations, academic institutions and corporations interested in applying for a Grant in the PMI IMPACT Third Funding Round is invited to contact the project office of PMI IMPACT and propose a concept of the project.

 

  • Who to contact for the exploratory stage: please contact the project office of PMI IMPACT at impact@pmi.com, specify the name of the organization that is interested in applying for a Grant, provide your official contact information and send a concept note of the proposed project.
  • How to prepare a concept note: please download and use this template to prepare a concept of your project proposal. The concept should be brief (cca. 2-pager document).
  • How to find out the result of the exploratory stage: the project office of PMI IMPACT will inform the relevant organization about the result of the exploratory stage using the contact information provided. If the concept of the proposed project is endorsed by PMI, the project office of PMI IMPACT will invite the respective organization to submit an Application to PMI IMPACT. If the concept of the proposed project is not endorsed by PMI, the project office of PMI IMPACT will notify the respective organization accordingly.
  • How to prepare the Application for submission to PMI IMPACT: the invited organization will be instructed to login an online platform and work on the Application, save information, download and upload files. After the Application is finalized, it can be submitted to PMI IMPACT.

WHO CAN APPLY?

PMI IMPACT is open to project proposals from public, private, or non-profit organizations, including governmental organizations, international organizations, associations, academic institutions, and corporations .

Applicants may not be:
  • individuals;
  • tobacco or electronic cigarette manufacturing companies; or
  • controlled by, or belong to, the same group of companies as any tobacco or electronic cigarette manufacturing company.

Applicants can be based anywhere in the world, however all proposals must address the funding round theme and focus on one of its proposed topics.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

Public, private, or non-profit organizations, including non-governmental organizations, international organizations, associations, academic institutions and corporations, identified through the exploratory stage, will be invited to submit an Application to PMI IMPACT.  

The invitation to submit an Application to PMI IMPACT will provide access to a secure online platform where the Applicant can find the Application form and other templates to complete and upload its project to the platform, in order to complete the submission.

Applicants can apply following one of the three deadlines for submission of Applications. The call for Applications remains open until the third submission deadline.

 

  • First submission deadline: September 15, 2021, 23h59 CET.
  • Second submission deadline: April 15, 2022, 23h59 CET.
  • Third submission deadline: August 15, 2022, 23h59 CET.

The submission deadline for the Application means that the Applicant has completed the process of submission of the Application through the online platform.

The submission deadlines are indicative and might be subject to change by PMI.
